It’s the most wonderful time of the year! This is the first full weekend of December, the first weekend after Thanksgiving! There are two more weekends until Christmas. What better time to celebrate the holiday season through Hollywood’s eyes with a special blogathon? The Happy Holidays Blogathon has finally arrived!
In a desire to be all-inclusive, we made this blogathon’s theme holiday films rather than just Christmas films. We are officially welcoming Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s, Russian Christmas, and Epiphany films. We made three additional banners just for this purpose. However, every single participant decided to write about a film which focuses on or features Christmas! (The only exception is the Star Wars Holiday Special, which is technically about Life Day, but we didn’t make a banner for that!) I guess that Christmas is still the most popular holiday, at least for entertainment.
Haul out the Hollywood, for we need a little Christmas now! From today through Sunday, we will republish all the holiday-themed film reviews which our participants send. If you are participating in this blogathon, you can link to this post or the original announcement. Leave us the link to your post, and we will add it to the assortment of gifts.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Please enjoy this blogathon, our final blogathon of 2019!

Hey ladies,
I’m probably too late to get added today, and I know it’s the last day…
Just hoping you’ll add it tomorrow anyway. I was sick for a couple days and ended up doing the whole writing/screenshot thing today.
Anyway, here’s the link, and thank you again for hosting!
