From November 15 to 20, our Facebook page is hosting an art competition! Rebekah and I are seeking an original poster for our four-act ballet, Phantom of the Opera: The Ballet. Featuring classical music and our original choreography, the story we wrote is based on the original Gaston Leroux novel, Le Fantome de l’Opera, and the 1943 film Phantom of the Opera rather than the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.
We made a poster for our ballet using Canva and clipart from Google images a year ago. Now, we want to make an official poster featuring original art. We need an artist to create, either on paper or on the computer, silhouette images of three dancers and a mask, plus a color image of pointe shoes. Then, these images can be integrated into the existing poster. The prize for this competition’s winner is $50!
To read the additional details and join the competition, visit the event’s listing on Facebook. You can easily join on Facebook. I think it will be a lot of fun. Please join and share this event to make it a success!
