Ladies and gentleman, on September 27, I announced The Second Annual Great Breening Blogathon. Since I scheduled the blogathon for October 12-17, that was a rather late announcement. Although I had been contemplating the blogathon for months, other projects kept me from announcing it until late September. I knew that it was scheduled for a busy time, but I was hoping to have a fairly good turnout anyway.
We posted the roster for the blogathon on October 12. At the time, only four participants aside from PEPS members had signed up. I hoped for a few more joiners during the time of the blogathon. However, I soon realized that most of the invitation comments I had sent on WordPress had not been delivered. I re-sent a few, but the lateness of this prevented most people from being available. In addition, there was a power outage in my town all day Monday through Tuesday afternoon. This prevented me from working on some of my own articles for the blogathon. Finally, WordPress deleted part of the draft of my sister’s article for the blogathon.
I am telling you about these little mishaps to explain why I have decided to extend The Second Annual Great Breening Blogathon, which was scheduled to end today. It is hereby extended through this Sunday, October 21. This will give me and my family members time to complete and publish our participating articles. It will also give our two remaining participants time to complete and submit their articles. Hopefully, it will also give a few other writers time to decide to join the blogathon with an article! I am happy to accept articles from any new joiners who include a banner and a link to the roster in their articles!
Thank you for your support of all our endeavors, ladies and gentlemen. Keep checking back during this week for more articles in The Second Annual Great Breening Blogathon!
