Presenting – The Brannan Sisters!

For over a year and a half, I, Tiffany Brannan, the authoress of most of the articles here on PEPS, and my sister, Rebekah, have remained rather obscure, faceless individuals. We have written, and you have read, yet our faces and real personalities have remained secret. However, the mystery is over. For the first time on the internet, we are presenting

LA Soprani Sisters-pictures

Tiffany and Rebekah Brannan!

I am on the right, and Rebekah is on the left. This picture is just the beginning, however. Our L. A. Soprani Sisters website features many other pictures of us, two videos of each of us singing, and extensive biographies about us. Now that we are promoting ourselves as singers, we want people to know who we are.

Watch the PEPS website during the next few days to see our new homepage! PEPS is undergoing some refurbishing. In a day or two, it will be presented in its new form, better than ever! Until then, please enjoy reading some of our articles, and be sure to visit the new L. A. Soprani Sisters website!

  1. Well, I knew you were both very smart, but I had no idea how accomplished both of you are. Your singing voices are AMAZING! No wonder you hosted a Jeanette MacDonald/Nelson Eddy Blogathon – either of you could give ol’ Jeanette a run for her money.

    • Dear Ruth,

Thank you so much for this kind comment. Your compliments mean a lot to us. Yes, we love Jeanette MacDonald; Rebekah has a specialty of imitating her, as you may have deduced from the fact that her two videos are of songs that Jeanette sang in movies with Nelson!

I am enjoying writing an article for the blogathon you are co-hosting, the Reel Infatuation Blogathon. I will post it later today. I have also been enjoying reading your novel. It’s very captivating. I’m sure it will be a few weeks if not over a month before I have finished it, but I am enjoying it.

I have a favor to ask you, Ruth. Since you have been supportive, I thought you might be interested in helping us promote our upcoming performance, “The Story of the Code Through Classical Song at Hollywood and Western.” You can read about it here: We are trying to sell tickets to this event, and we really could use some more publicity. I was wondering if you would be willing to post something about the event on your website. You have a lot of readers and followers. The event would be interesting to classic film fans because it is not only a classical concert but a tribute to the Breen era of Hollywood. The Hollywood history is closely intertwined with the music. Again, I would appreciate any help in advertising which you would be willing to give me.

Thank you, Ruth! I appreciate your support.

      Yours Hopefully,

      Tiffany Brannan

  2. Oh my gosh!! The last time I saw both of you and your Mum and Dad was at a ballet in Orange County and you had a long drive back to Idylwild (?). Now roll the clock forward 4-5 years and you’ve all of a sudden become proper young ladies pursuing your passion! Obviously Mum and Dad did a very commendable job in home-schooling the both of you and it shows in your musings/writing blog.
I’m currently in New York for the summer ballet season (surprise?? NOT!) and will be returning back to SD on July10th. I don’t believe I have any commitments on July 15th (subject to check) and I will definitely try and make it to your evening soiree (need to see where it is – is it in LA proper?). If I can’t I will let you know ahead of time and will try and make a future one. Whatever the case the best of luck in EVERYTHING the both of you do – from what I’ve seen and read thus far you’ve got ALL the ingredients to make a success of whatever you choose to do – talent and a drive to succeed!! YOU GO GIRLS!!
PS. Say HI to Mum and Dad

    • Dear Mr. Holland,

It’s probably been about two and a half years since we last saw you. It’s hard to believe that it’s been so long. We’ve thought of you often. We hope that you have enjoyed your interesting travels, during which I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of wonderful performances.

I’m so glad that you are impressed by our website. I’ve put a lot of time and energy into it, and our parents have been very supportive.

The event on July 15 is in downtown Hollywood, so it is in Los Angeles proper. We wouldn’t think of being anywhere that wasn’t proper! The building is on Hollywood Boulevard, not too far from Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. I can send you directions if you decide to come and need them. We would be thrilled if you would be able to purchase a ticket and come to our event. It is going to be a very versatile, diverse afternoon! Rebekah is even going to do a ballet solo en pointe, so you, as a ballet enthusiast, should enjoy that.

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. We greatly look forward to hearing from you soon. Our mother and father have received your cordial greetings, and they send their regards. Our email address is You can email us at that address if you want to. With sincere personal regards, I am

      Yours Hopefully,

      Tiffany Brannan
